Santrap is a spin-off of ARCA di santARCAngelo, created as a lab dedicated to the emerging musical generations of the area. Its goal is to uncover and spotlight the local underground music scene—artists who often already have recognition in wider circles, but remain hard to identify within their own communities.

Born during the height of the pandemic, the project has brought local artists to the stages of Santarcangelo’s main cultural events, often performing alongside nationally recognized guests. Over the years, performers have included Kasto and Kadesh, Cloud and Kd-One, AFB crew + SoundRiseTriboo, Jack The Trick, Elzedmxrbo, Personal, Haze, Albino, Max Penombra, Age, Irol, with guest appearances by artists such as Inoki, Mattak, Ensi, Moder, Zampa, and Manny Mani.

Most of these rising talents were born in or live around Santarcangelo, confirming the city’s vibrant creative energy—an environment that continues to foster artistic growth. From poetry to musical rhymes is a short step, especially for those rooted in a cultural tradition rich with artistic use of language.

The Trap and Hip-Hop music of these young artists conveys the dreams and hopes, disappointments and visions of a new generation—through fresh sounds and powerful lyrics.

The artistic direction of the project is curated by Nicolò Fiori.
