Supercinema

The Focus Foundation has owned the Supercinema since 2007, the year the foundation was established.
On October 19, 2023, the venue reopened after several months of closure, during which energy efficiency improvements were carried out thanks to co-financing from the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan).

The Supercinema has returned with a new project, new management, and a new identity: C’entro.

This project has transformed the Supercinema into a multidisciplinary cultural center with a cinema-focused core, while expanding its opening hours and public programming. The new offer is structured along three main lines: use/enjoyment, education, and artistic and cultural production.

The Sala Antonioni on the ground floor, equipped with a stage, now regularly hosts not only film screenings but also other forms of live performance.

The Sala Wenders on the first floor is used for workshops, arts education, and in-person or streamed events.

Focus is supported in this new management by the Santarcangelo dei Teatri Association, which helps coordinate and oversee project activities.

Even the name “C’entro” (a play on the Italian words for “center” and “I belong”) highlights the main goal of the new identity: inclusivity.
This is a place that opens its doors to young people, associations, and local communities, encouraging them to take part in programming and contribute to the center’s development through participatory practices.
