FoCuS has a New Board of Directors: Alessandro Giovanardi Appointed President

Fondazione Culture Santarcangelo has a new Board of Directors and a new president: Alessandro Giovanardi, art historian and critic, supported by a team of board members with diverse skills, also representing two new participating members, Santarcangelo dei Teatri and the Pro Loco.
The board expands from three to five members, welcoming broader representation from the cultural fabric of Santarcangelo: besides the president, the Municipality has appointed Paolo Pecci, a statistician and expert in European project design, while the Province of Rimini appointed Federica Piersimoni, publisher, journalist, lecturer, and trainer specializing in event communication and territorial promotion. The Pro Loco of Santarcangelo nominated Gianluca Maestri, architect and interior designer, and Santarcangelo dei Teatri confirmed Ludovica Parmeggiani, expert in fundraising, project management, and public relations.
“The new board brings transversal expertise that can open a new fruitful programming phase for the foundation, with various fields of action to develop alongside the more traditional cultural work,” says Mayor Filippo Sacchetti. “We also chose to expand the board to broaden the dialogue on the foundation’s projects with partners with whom FoCuS shares the promotion and cultural development of the Santarcangelo community, further opening the foundation’s doors to the city.”
“The profiles of the board members and the importance of the institutions they represent,” the mayor continues, “will contribute to rethinking the role of FoCuS and the cultural institutions it manages in the territory, within the guidelines outlined in the strategic document ‘Culture and Community,’ which is currently being distributed to all city households as a supplement to TuttoSantarcangelo.”
“Continuity with the work carried out so far is ensured by Ludovica Parmeggiani’s continued presence on the board representing Santarcangelo dei Teatri, as well as by the confirmation of Giovanni Boccia Artieri as the cultural director of the Baldini Library. We extend our sincere thanks to Boccia Artieri and outgoing board member Natalino Cappelli for their valuable commitment over the years, and we wish the new Board of Directors the best of luck in their work,” concludes the mayor.
